Description

A lounge chair designed by Grete Jalk for P. Jeppesen, made in Denmark in the early 1960s. Danish mid-century modern lounge chair crafted in solid teak, this piece features beautifully sculpted armrests, tapered round legs, and an elegant backrest composed of gently curved vertical slats that create both visual movement and ergonomic support.

The warm teak grain contrasts nicely with the dark textured upholstery on the seat and back cushion (original spring cushions), highlighting the clean lines and refined craftsmanship characteristic of Scandinavian design.

Light yet sturdy in appearance, the chair embodies the timeless balance of form and function that defines classic Danish modern furniture.
