This vintage Grundig Hi-Fi Studio 550 is a striking German-made stereo system dating to the late 1960s or early 1970s. Its white and aluminum finish, compact pedestal base and geometric Troika Kub speakers capture the futuristic Space Age design of the period.

The all-transistor system includes a record player, radio, base and matching speakers. The stereo, turntable and speakers were professionally serviced and sound great. The FM radio presets work; however, the dial used to tune the AM radio is missing. Some alterations have also been made to the wiring connecting the speakers and base.

This sculptural audio system works as both functional vintage electronics and a distinctive piece of mid-century modern décor.
